The mechanism to move the seat forward and back now has about 2" of slop after positioning. Makes it a little more difficult to brake smoothly when the seat suddenly slams forward and my foot is on the pedal. Any idea why the seat is moving?
It's a company truck but I don't want to lose a day or two while the shop fiddles with it.

should have a lock lever on front. this will keep you from slide back and forthmagoo68, Milr72, HoneyBadger67 and 2 others Thank this.

Followed the lock lever and saw the seat latch in the back. It has a cable attached to a lever in the front of the seat far left. Moved the lever and now the seat locks up.
Now, the engine runs, the low beam, dash lights, and cab lights work. No high beams, no turn signals, no flashers.

thats all you need.

The lever in front of the seat engages or unlocks the "isolator," which allows the seat to float fore-and-aft to reduce back slap in a rough-riding truck.
Some drivers like to use the isolator and some don't.Snow Hater Thanks this. -
I’m having same problem but I can’t find the lever you are talking
I’m having same problem but I can’t find the lever you are talking about. Can you please send me a picture? -
Sorry, I don't drive a Cascadia any more. Keep looking for things that move and trace the cable to the levers.
You could always read the manual.sekhon617 Thanks this.
