KLLM is 2 days earned for every 7 days out. So 3 weeks would be 6 days off. We get a travel day so it can sometimes feel like a week off. I’ve often thought about using a vacation day to get that 7th day guaranteed. I usually stay out 4ish weeks but if they get me home early I can lose a day.

Max time with same truck is 7 days off; so you’d keep the same truck too.

Lostmykey how long have you been with KLLM? Did you go through their school?

I know drivers doing glass at Maverick that stay out 3-4 weeks and take a week off. I used to stay out a couple or 3 months and take 2+ weeks off sometime. Sometimes they complain about it but they never told me that I had to turn the truck in. I even took a 30 day vacation to the Philippines and came back to the same truck, they even did the PM on the truck and told me I could leave all my stuff in it.

I’ve been with them about 18mos. I went through their cdl school in Jackson, MS. Burn’s harbor and Lancaster are the better school locations.

That’s what I want to do; 2-2.5 months out for two weeks off. Keep same truck. My first truck was from Mavericks refrigerated fleet. Kllm bought that division. Not in the mood for flatbed atm.

Idk how much time off drivers at ffe earn per 7 days; but @Jenn72 does two weeks off and keeps same truck, iirc.

That kind of schedule will definitely provide plenty of off time for hunting Kentuckians!

FFE time off is 2 days off too for every week out. My husband & I have taken two weeks off and still had our same truck. We usually stay out 8-12 weeks at a time.

We both attended the Lancaster school.

I worked for Magnum and I used to do 3-4 weeks out and take a week off. I enjoyed that schedule.
