30 lbs weight loss
$30,000 gross revenue
I am trying to hit some personal goals over the next month and decided to post it here to help with some accountability.
I'm an MC with a 48' flatbed running the spot market. I left today, 9/28 and plan to drop the last load before deadheading home on 10/28 or possibly having to deadhead back on the 29th.
I weighed in at 345 pounds before I left this morning. That's a big number for someone at about 6'1" who climbs all over spot market flatbed loads. I also don't want to be the guy that they find in his truck 2 weeks after he had a grabber or stroke in his sleeper. Combined with being pre-diabetic and being on blood pressure meds for the better part of 10 years I think this is a worthy start. The plan is to use OMAD (one meal a day) and most of those meals will be cooked on the truck.
My first load is from TN to CA, pays $7000 on 2412 miles. Picked up today and drops on Saturday. It's pretty rare to find a receiver in the flatbed world that takes delivery on the weekend so that will help out a lot.

Good for you. Just and I can't. Stress this enough. Don't starve the weight off. I look forward to your success.

The gross revenue will be easier than weight loss

Hell yeah! Cut out the carbs and eat good proteins, and no drinking calories!
Money making and life changing! You can do this
Edit: I say no drinking calories. I have a protein shake for breakfast every day. No need for just 1 meal a day. Starving yourself is a recipe for failure. Good proteins and a bit of exercise. Eating carbs will make you crave more.Last edited: Sep 29, 2021

That’s a ton of weight in 30 days. The rest should be easy.
I’m at 36 lbs lost but it’s been 2 months. 2 reasonable meals a day. With maybe some fruit or a yogurt for lunch? No soda, only water or an occasional non sweet tea. Oh, and a bite size York peppermint patty if I have to have a bedtime snack.
I call it the “don’t eat so much you fat ####### diet”.
I didn’t start as heavy as you though. Good luck my friend. I’m pullin for ya.DeereRunner97, Dave_in_AZ, Elroythekid and 7 others Thank this. -
Good luck to you Sir have a game plan and stick to it ...TripleSix, T.Rucker, Trucker61016 and 2 others Thank this. -
Start by eating very small meals 3-4 times a day with very low carbs. You will do much better than you think. No Soda or sweets and lots of greens and vegs. Once done at end of shift take an hour walk. Will do great on this.

Good luck op, about the weight, focus on consistent even weight loss rather than spurts, you probably gained it gradually, so modification of your habits into a long slow weight loss will prove longer lasting and harder to gain backTrucker61016, D.Tibbitt and Tug Toy Thank this. -
Im on day 268 away from the house.
Added 15 pounds this year
33k in revenue last month.
Does this count??
Good luck to you. Ive recently replaced soda and Gatorade with coconut water. Trying to get rid of the sugar in these drinks. It is hard staying healthy while living out of truck stops. But i wish you the best. Let us know how it goes and keep us updated.DeereRunner97, God prefers Diesels, Dave_in_AZ and 7 others Thank this.
