Does anybody currently work for A Duie Pyle. I’ve been hired on after being laid off three weeks ago. At last job was working a 41-44 hour work week six days a week M-S. I was on track to make 81K this year before the lay off.

From my research there is barely any drivers with extensive details about night shuttle driver at this company. All I care about is the hours and safety of the company.

After being hired on guys have been telling me they average easy 100K+ a year working 53-62 hours a week because of the OT. I’ve read a few reviews and most complain about hours being long. For me I’m fine with 55+ every week if it means I can gross 100K and still have weekends off.

I’m about to have my house paid off alongside my three cars paid off. At the age of 32 years old! I’m beyond driven to push into my 40’s making 100K every year and investing if possible at A duie pyle. Terminal manager confirmed but would like to hear from other drivers who might have worked there.

If I read your last paragraph correctly you should NOT invest in the company you work for. Invest in the choices the company 401k, etc offer, but don't buy stock in the employer. Getting your paycheck and your investment wealth/income from the same place is putting too many eggs in one basket. If you were to be laid off and your employer has a big lawsuit or something that scares away investors you could find yourself without a paycheck and your investment slashed at the same time. I probably just misunderstood your sentence. It sounds like a good job/company.

Gee, should I make $100k a year or $150k a year and be home every day?
    Decisions, decisions.

i tried getting on with Pyle. back then, they had over-nighters and no guarantee that i'd get back the same truck. which meant, that i'd have to unload all my stuff each time.

    BS.

i'd NOT ever invest in my employer's investments, or company.

no guarantee Pyle will stay in business anymore than any other company.

invest in your own stocks, bonds, etc.

    be free of problems

I’ll only be investing into 401K not company. It does and I’m glad to have been hired on. No real info out here on gig

    If you work 45 hours per week @ $32.10 Per Hour = $1,444.50 Gross x 52 weeks = $76,114.00
If you get 10 hours OT per week @ Time and a half ($48.00 Per hour) that would add $480 to your weekly earnings.
Multiply that amount x 52 weeks = $24,960 added to your income for a total sum of $100,074.00.00 working 55 hours a week!

    A. Duie has been great so far. I’ve been averaging the check below every week. Hours are guaranteed so far. Doing 11-12 hours a day. I can’t believe I’m making this type of money after three years in trucking! With good benefits to boot
