Hey everyone I just got a quick question on a 3406e block. The block deck had a nick in it, I was wondering if I can repair it in the truck? Would it hold up, that kind of stuff. Here is some pictures. Thank you in advance.![]()

Yes it can be. Where are you located. I recommend Rutts machine in PA. came to my friends shop and machined my block in frame. He will travel for a mileage rate and then the rate of the job.

I don't think that'll cause you any issues myself. If the block doesn't need cut, I think I'd put it together. @wore out?

Put the liners in it and check protrusion. I think it’s fine as you can still see the saw cut marks on the liner seat
