Need someone with sis access tell me what my boost spec was from cat on 6TS26690 , I've had cat turn up to 550 but still seems a little on weak side I've changed fuel pump, and pressure control valve (check valve) builds about 40 pounds boost I believe should be higher

40lbs is nuts. 22lbs from factory. Even at the 550 rating they only run 26 or 28.
Wasnt til the 6nzs they started running 35 or so.
Didnt crack 40lbs boost until the twin turbos came out.

If you have the factory waste gated turbo then you must have the wastegate line pinched off.
There is no way it would make that kind of boost stock.

I’m seeing 32-36psi with a 78mm on a lo-nox 550 file.

Perfectly normal with a non WG turbo.

What was the boost before the upgrade ? And what hp was it stock before ?

That's about normal, even with a bigger turbo, my Borg does maybe 45 psi and mine was a 550 stock and has the 6999 injector codes. You go down the "need more power" rabbit hole and there's no turning back. I'm sort of looking for a little bigger injectors, maybe a cam, of course then I'll need an even bigger turbo, it never ends if you don't stop yourself.booley Thanks this.
