I have a 1991 362 pete with a 350 3406b cat that has just recently started spuddering and shaking when I first shift into 7 or 8 gear and the fuel pressure gauge has started to bounce with the needle pointing down any idea where to start
Transfer pump? Plugged fuel filter? I drove 362's back in the late eighties/early nineties with that engine and had both problems happen. Got pics btw?
Hey man he's been at this game 2 years man! He knows it all! I'd drive a 362 any day over a #### cascadia

I had 2 Peterbilt 362's that I ran over the road from 1998 until 2009 when I was in a major accident and almost lost my life and had to sell everything and quit. I would put my 1982 Peterbilt 362 with a 425 Cat,275" wheelbase lowered front end,Pete Airride up against any of the 6 Peterbilt 379"s I owned. It was more dependedable,Easier to work on(mechanical) and drew attention everywhere it went and the most important thing, It toted the freight down the road just like the trucks that were 15 years newer,But had payed for itself many times over. It came to me as a stock short wheelbase cabover and we restored it,stretched it,redone the interior and rebuilt the Cat and anything else it needed and painted it.Had about $22,000.00 in it truck and all the work, ran it for 11 years, doing routine maintainence and a starter, tires,an airbag and a few odd's and end's!!! Made more money with that truck that any truck I have ever owned and enjoyed it more,Because not everybody had one like it!!! I had it on a dedicated run I had,3 round trips a week at 1004 miles a round turn!! Never more than 502 miles from home!! The good old days!!!! I miss them!!!
