Cecu will control the starter interlock relay. Starter overheat protection is the primary function. If you go to a pete dealer or someone who has ESA you can tell the cecu to disable to relay. Is this truck an auto?
ClineER Thanks this. -
No 18 speed. No thermo protect switch on starter. I put a bypass wire In relay and it worked fine. May just leave jumper In. Thanks for help

The cecu just has a set time of cranking it allows before it locks it out for starter protection. No sensor needed on the starter.
Bypassing it will work as well as getting it turned off
