I like to hear racist comments about Obama, rap, Black people, and any other negative topic. It really makes my day to talk over these racist ######## with my Big Boy radio.

The idiots with the base stations bother me more. I've only talked to a couple 4 wheelers with cbs and they were drivers. The base stations that play stupid sounds like in Terre Haute, IN bother me most. There were two the other night in Indy, neighbors I'm guessing, the had big linears but couldn't understsnd them because they were off frequency. Lol.

Yep if I hear stupid head in Terre Haute, In I just turn it off for 10-15 mins. -
aw shucks, i miss Gary ind, it's all dyed up now with lot' lizard trying too get you over the radio ,
but anyway since i been out here and i bought a nice setup , it's been mostly quite for the most part's i travel 21 states around Iowa, even Gary, ind TA is super quite and too me that strange and if there on there , there all done at 11 pm there was the preacher on there who gonna save us all over the cb for bout hour and half , that was annoying too

Sometimes I wish all 4 wheelers had CB speakers only, so I could informe them how poorly they are driving. Usally in not so nice of terms.

I'd be willing to wager it's probably more truckers than 4 wheelers making all the noise and racket. Though I won't rule out a few with base stations sounding off under the cloak of anonymity..thing is most folks don't really have CB's anymore. Also some of the Spanish speaking operators are probably down in Mexico, and when skip gets heavy, you hear it clear as a bell up north in the U.S.

I have my cobra in my car but I try to be respectful of other people

I've never in my life been a trucker, but I have a CB in my car. The clowns are 4 wheelers and truckers alike. Me, I have respect for everyone out there on the road, professionally or for whatever reason. I mostly just listen to 19 because quite frankly, it beats a radar detector any day of the week to know where the cops are sitting, but if I see a bear, I do give a shout out. I like to think it's appreciated.
Once you pick up on the lingo, it's an extremely useful tool for anyone on the road, really.crb Thanks this. -
Dirtjersey I drive a four wheeler myself and I come from a family of truckers as well. The only thing I use my CB radio for is to help let truckers know where the "full growns, County Mounties, City Kitties" (State Trooper, Sheriff deputy and City police) are at or to talk to in order to kill time when I have a long drive or to let them know of a "brake check" (cars slowing down) is at. I was taught to respect others on the radio and to help them out as well by my relatives who are still truckers today. I have never disrespected fellow truckers when I have my radio turned on. I agree with you regarding the idiots out there who honestly don't know what in the world they are doing and are trying to be cool by having a CB radio in their car. I just wanted to let you know that not all 4 wheelers have idiots behind their wheel.
I am one of those who was taught to "help" my fellow truckers and to treat them the way you would want to be treated and you will get the same in return. So not all 4 wheelers have wanna bes behind the wheel. Hope you keep it between the ditches and avoid having your picture taken by a full grown. Stay safe out there.
