I don't want to tell you your business, but I would be a bit careful with large expenditures if you are relatively new at this, timing is everything and this economy still has not fully recovered, on top of that this is an election year, could make for a stagnant year, JMHO.

I was about to pull the trigger on a new trailer but I'm holding off. I have a feeling that I'll be thankful I dont have any payments this next year

 

Yep, right there with you Bro, I now have all 8 trucks and trailers on the road and very little payments, I'm just going to stand pat with that hand, IF I have a great year, I will pay some more in tax, if I don't I will sleep better with no big nut to crack and crap rates.

Maybe I'm just a bit more cautious since the divorce, OR maybe I'm just getting too old to take the chances I used too???

 

I'm sure that being in business during 01 and 08 has a little something to do with it also

Yeah a friend of mine(guy that bought all your trailers actually lol) called it early last year that we would see a slowdown at the very least. A trend I've noticed with people that have been in business through a recession is that they are cautious about how much debt they take on.
