88890300 adapter wireless?

    Is anyone using this 88890300 adapter? I am reading that is has 802.11b and g capabilities. But the wirelss light on the box isnt lighting up. Also when the adapter is plugged into a tractore, my computer isnt seeing any wireless network being broadcast from it. Does anyone know if it requires another piece for the wireless to work?
