    detroit 60ser changed br light switch in dash above steering col. tested old one in truck, hot on one side not on other. same when br. applied. new switch does same. has no br. lights, cruise doesn't go off when br. or clutch is applied.

    Check the turn signal switch brake lights dunn through there do the brake lights work if you put 12 volts to the other side of the switch

    Check the switch port for air pressure with brake applied. Make sure you have the correct switch. There are normally open switches and normally closed switches.
