Had a fan mount break on the old N14 KW and take out the rad, looking for any advice on replacing the rad. Also, from what I've read the 97 to 07 rads on the T2000 are all the same, can anyone confim that? I found a basically new one from an 05 Cat T2000 for a really good price and would love to use that one if possible.
Plan so far is pull the hood, remove all hoses and then figure out what is needed to pull the entire rad support off the front of the truck. Any ideas or tid bits that make it easier?

Which fan mount?
I had one break on me same engine model and year but I caught it before it could do any damages. It's on the top mount of the fan .
Cummings replaced it with a new version.. -
I don't mean to change the subject..

It actually was the upper mount, broke right off the flange, it looks like the previous company tried welding it where it cracked and it finally gave up. Do you have a part number for that newer version?

I do have a engine # that should be the same as yours 11822289 incase you want to call Cummings Directly.. -
Also if you are still running this type of fuel line which I had to repair with JB to get me to the parts house... -
Cummings is replacing it with this version..magoo68 Thanks this. -
Quick Update: Install was easier than I assumed, the rad we got actually came with the frame so we did not need to remove the frame from the original rad. The truck actually did have both the upgraded fan support and the stainless fuel line. It actually was not as painful as i thought it was, the rad came installed in the frame so it was just a matter of transferring the mounts and bushings and reinstalling everything. It's all straightforward once the hood is off.
Final Drive Thanks this.
