A Friendly *Honk*Honk*

Hey There Awesome Truckers!

Just sending a friendly *shout-out* to the men and women of the by-ways and highways!

Any North Slope Truckers on the forum??

I'm the daughter of a trucker and just have my permit at the moment. I don't know WHY it took me so long to get my CDL A (I have everything now...gonna take my driving test in March for my license).

I LOVE everything about semi's! W00T!!

What is it about us small gals and big trucks? I'm just a wee-one at 5'2", but I lift weights so I'm stronger than I look! LOL

I live in Fairbanks, Alaska and work on the North Slope in the petroleum industry (near the Bering Sea). I've only driven vac trucks a little with a co-worker but hope to drive more this summer and maybe drive for the Drilling Support Team.

The first time I drove that 100,000 pound vac truck was one of the BEST day of my life! TRUE STORY!! My respect for veteran professional truck drivers grew exponentially!! YOU GUYS TOTALLY ROCK...I can only hope to gain in the ranks bit by bit.
