My husband was off the last three days. On his last day we found out a very good friend had passed. He had some drinks. It effected him very badly. He hasn't had anything to drink in at least 18 hours. I don't want to say 24 because it's short of that. He is really really hung over and can barely move. He loves his new job and feels stupid but #### it. Advice? Please? Geezzzz...
A little advice?

Call the company & tell them a close friend or a relative passed away & he needs a couple of days off to attend the funeral.
Auctioneer, SingingWolf, Bean Jr. and 2 others Thank this. -
There is no question about getting in the truck. He wouldn't do that.

I hope he doesn't loose his job. He really feels happy there so far. I guess we are all our own worst enemies. Say a prayer for us please. And thanks for the support. Sometimes life happens.

Auctioneer, G13Tomcat and Protein Hauler Thank this. -
Call them and tell them what's going on and if they have any shred of human decency they will understand. It shouldn't be a big deal to ask for a few days off.
Auctioneer and mitrucker Thank this. -
