a question from a noob

    thanks for all the replies, do any of you own more than one truck, and if so how much do you pay your drivers per mile? my dad has been driving since 87 and ive never known him to make over .33cpm no matter where he works.

    $.33 a mile was cheap 25 years ago. Your dad pull a box? You get your business up, you will probably have to hire him to hell him out.

    Yeah a box, some jobs have been reefers. we are in NC. i dont think anyone around here pays more than .35cpm. if they do he hasnt found them. says its a love hate relationship these days, loves to drive but hates the small checks.
