What is the difference between an (MVR) and an (Abstract report) and where would My accidents show up? Also if the police aren’t called on an accident will truck companies still see that I’ve been on an accident if I don’t say anything?

If you and/or your company didn’t report an accident. There’s nothing to see.
Abstract is an in-depth view of your driving history. MVR is narrowerstylez80Nine Thanks this. -
I’m speaking on my private vehicle like do trucks company contact my ensurance cuz I got an Abstract and there weren’t any accident on there
-
Okay. But did your insurance request a CDL abstract?
Your CDL abstract shows a lot more than just your driving record. It digs deep, and can contain your Medical card data as well.
But the bottom line remains the same. If you and/or your company have not reported anything. There’s nothing there except what would show in a police report. If they were called to the scene.
If none of this has happened, you’re concerned about nothing. They’re not going to call friends and family to validate any denials you make.
Companies want to see these abstracts. You’d be surprised how many DUI’s, felony drug charges, and other things get omitted on applications.
They’re looking for patterns of recklessness. -
I’m sorry I probably didn’t word it right I don’t have a cdl im trying to get one with a company but I had to minor incident that aren’t showing up one on my Abstract one company send me home
Because I was too truthful the cops weren’t called but I didn’t want to lie but seen this makes me now want to say yes because it’s not showing up on my Abstract will the ensurance company put it on paper somewhere -
Obviously I’m not getting a full story here. But the short and skinny is this.
No. If there’s no record of it on your MVR. It didn’t happen. Don’t mention it, ever.
No trucking company is going to contact your insurance company for their data. -
I can’t seem to get my MVR when I search it I find only an abstract of driving records and on there there aren’t any incidents I’ve provided a pictures of what is shown on my Abstract and thanks for your help just really want to get into trucking

Okay. You just answered your on question. You have a record. And, it’s a MAJOR violation. You were convicted (by a court or your own admission) and you were fined.
Blowing a stop sign is right up there with DUI as far as most companies are concerned. You’ll need to wait until that drops off. Or just keep applying. Maybe someone like CRST will give you a chance.stylez80Nine Thanks this. -
That’s because they are the same thing. New York, New Jersey and some other states call the record an abstract while some like Mississippi, Colorado and others call the record an MVR. Some states routinely do 3 year, others 5 year or 7 year. Longer records can be obtained from most states on request.

Thanks
