9 yrs ago....I would think after 7 yrs, it's out of the system, but ask the local city where the accident took place assuming there was a police report made.

Should be able to get it for 10 years on a commerical accident.

The investigating agency should have some type of contact information. A quick phone call should answer that question. My opinion is the report should be filed and available, but beware you might have to pay a fee for the labor to find it.

Lexus Nexus is a database that PD and Insurance companies subscribe to for on-line access to a lot of municipal reports.
I know looking at the local NJ town PD web pages usually had instructions on personally coming to the records bureau -or- the on-line access which led to a searchable by state list of towns available for a fee. -
When do your points fall off your license? When they do that will open up more opportunities.
