Ya , itll take you 10 years to earn back the $361.99 you might or might not save in fuel ,while looking like a swift driver doing it. Get your self some airtabs while your at it

I have them for 7 years... running team it took me 4 1/2 weeks to save the $500 mine cost...
that's for the older ones CLEAR center with extra air lines so you don't have to take them off in check air psi..... the older ones were bolted on not the twist lock like the new ones
solo would take about 8-9 weeks

and yes airtabs do help also...!!

No you didn't. But I'm cool if you want to convince yourself you did. That's 200 gallons in 4 weeks. Don't care if you drove to the moon and back nonstop. It only benefits fleets with thousands of trucks.

How could you even accurately see the tiny tiny difference in fuel mileage? A small breeze or a big bug splatter could make the difference

Not even the Deflecktor brand will make that claim. They are claiming a savings of $500 to $1000 yearly (52 weeks) and we all know they exaggerate the numbers to sell these things.

I’ve looked into them, but they’re way too pricey. If you really want to get them for cheap I would suggest searching for them online to see the junk yards that carry them. Hopefully you can buy the set for under $100.

Now, if you really want to save money right away, well, that little pedal on the right. Go easy on it. Studies are saying your mpg will lower 0.1 for every 1 mph over 55.

team run Laredo, TX to Wayne MI. two rounds trips a week 6,500 miles a week.
38,000lb up and 10,000lb back every load.
    same fuel stops each way.
ran it for 8 weeks before I put them on (wheel covers) ran it for 22 weeks after.
when put them on my fuel millage went UP 3/10.... that's 45 gl. a week
    45 X $2.75 = $123.75 saved a week X 4 weeks = $495 saved a month....
if you track your fuel millage tank to tank and week to week and month to month it's EZ to see

You know there are many factors that affect fuel economy. How did you account for them? You didn’t. Deflecktor is the newest version of wheel covers that Schneider is using on their trucks, and you bet they’re also one of the most efficient in the market today. How is it that you’re claiming a saving of $500 per month (or $250 for solo drivers), which equates to $6,000 yearly (or $3,000 for solo drivers), yet Deflector is giving at the very most $1,000 per year?
