Well that’s been my opinion just feel stuck between rock and a hard place gotta cross BC boarder which is kinda scary but it’s a heavy haul and the airbags always make noise so not to concerning to DOT unless they really being pricks

Just grab a new bag and some tools to DIY. Even buying tools, you'll probably come out ahead of shop rates.
-
Yeah no shop near by in BFE and 50 miles from Canada company truck farm girl would love to fix but already been yelled at for fixing $h;t but once the shop figured I’m not a total idiot they actually listen to me now and will walk me through things now.

Take tire repair kit for regular car and try to fix it .... depending where it leaks ...we did it once and forgot to fix later , did hold for 3 months

To the OP
Theyre not complicated but on the roadside wouldnt be tons of fun to change out. Youre laying in the muck, smackin your face or head with every move, very contorted, the one stupid long threaded post is always covered in rust that takes forever with a ratchet, and youre sure to be one itty bitty yet oh so critical brass ferrule shy of a picnic.
If you take your ride height link off and overinflate the bags you can usually get it high enough to pull dead bag out but youll need a means to cap the leaking line without wrecking it in order to do so. I carry a few npt caps and plugs in my junk drawer for problems such as this.
Its not a case of company driver vs owner op. It sucks for anyone and happens to everyone. Be glad you arent paying for the repair or downtime or OOS.Rcranch81, cke, Tug Toy and 1 other person Thank this. -
If its same distance either way id advance the load. If you get popped at the scales oh well. Theyll probably have numbers of mobile repair guys who come out frequently for OOS trucks.

I would never think of it myself but worked that timeRcranch81, cke and FoolsErrand Thank this.
