I got a leaky airbag and want to know if I can get home to fix it or not chance it? It’s not droopy, it just leaks.

I did brake test and no loss of PSI, but not sure how I don’t lose psi when doing my brake test when air bag is leaking.

    any insight on these questions?

If you're not losing air too badly, I'd roll with it. Sometimes it leaks air from the inside of the cab as you build air pressure but you don't hear it walking by it.. it's ok in that case.. I've driven on a leaky air bag to get somewhere, a couple hundred miles. How far you gotta go?

1.2k miles. But it’s audible when stationary so I’m gonna get it replaced.

Dump your air bags before they get close enough to hear them being dumped. Can’t be wrote up for an air leak if there’s no air to leak:)

Back when Ohio did their safety blitz for hazmat trucks, I was pulled over with a full hazmat load just inside of the Ohio border, I had a leaking bag but the officer could not figure out which one was leaking so she said I have to get it fixed as soon as I get home and just let me go even without a warning. It was the lead axle air back with a leak so small, you could not see it but hear it faintly,

fast forward to a couple years back, one of my drivers had the same situation. Leaky bag but the officer could not figure out which one so the officer gave him a warning and told him to get it Into the shop when he gets unloaded, all the bags were replaced just to get them all done right.

Use tire repair kit if hole accessible and airbag not too old ...it held 3 months for me once

Impressive and yet crazy. Why would you wait 3 months to fix an issue that you know willl bite you in the butt?

It happened in old days and one of the drivers fixed it and everyone forgot about it when he was back to yard
