Today I saw an amazon day cab pulling a UPS trailer. Whats's up with that? Why would the teamsters allow a non-union company to move one of their trailers???

The same reason they allow Schneider, Swift and many others to pull their trailers, it is part of the contract for trailer interchange. They have built in a percentage of their loads that can be hauled by outside carriers, non-union, especially around the holidays.
Also, UPS Freight has a non-union side for truckload, so they don't even keep their entire business union and the Teamsters allow that to happen. -

As far as the ups trailer, ups delivers and picks up at their DC’s, I’ve seen many of them when I get a load into one of their DC’s. -
Mike2633 Thanks this.

@truckdriver31 last week I saw on multiple occasions Walmart tractor pulling an empty flatbed. Im curious if Walmart is now entering the flatbed world.
