I just got approved as a carrier with Amazon and I keep getting no matching search results or one or two short hauls only. I cannot make money lile tbis at all! Amazon support is non existent. Any ody out there no how to get loads showing up for me? I ha e a friend that showed me that his shows 500+ loads but mine shows none. He did not tell me a resolution. Anybody know what is going on and how to fix this?
Get on DAT and away from Amazon. You will go broke pulling amazon when not on holiday schedule. Just my 2 cents!
DAT does not have many PO loads either so I would have to get a trailer and not ready for that rn. My friend showed me loads paying well in his search results in my area and 500+ loads. I meed to try Amazon for myself but they have no support.
JBHunt has PO loads off their app. I wouldn't normally suggest them because they are a bunch of ######## but you sound like you really need to make some dough.
Your friend searching from the same "start point" (presumably a large metro area) and range shows 500+ loads available, but you are showing only one or two for that same city? Check the way you have your filters set, you must have something screwed up. And yes, for "power only" Amazon is really the only carrier to offer a decent number of loads. I had to go with Amazon for a couple of months when I first got started because I simply couldn't find a good trailer for sale then. Although you might start calling around to small local companies and letting them know you are available should anything come up? Or perhaps lease out to bigger carrier if you are willing to work full time? * Something is not right with your "500" number. I'm based in Seattle, Amazon's home town, and the typical number of power only loads available every day in the Puget Sound region (using a 100 mile range setting) is around 20-40. Edit - your friend sounds like he probably didn't specify any "Origin" (or range) in his search box. So yeah, he would be seeing all Amazon loads available in the entire US.
Prices for what? Container and Chassis (fairly busy with these, local rates around $3.75/mi, special qualifications and insurance required)? 26ft Truck (about four months ago Amazon made a big switch toward these for local hauling, and they pay about the same as a 53' trailer per mile). Here's the latest for 53' trailers in a 100mi range around Baltimore. It's pretty dismal on both rates and volume. Only 10 loads tonight. I don't really even bother to check the Amazon load board anymore since I bought my own trailer.
