American Truckers, a word of "warning"

Personally, I did understand all the hate for these micro cars. Seriously, it's a two in one deal....car slash coffin. When you get run over you just burry what's left

 

The only way they'll keep these things off the interstate is if they put gates at every entrance ramp that disable the engines if they pass through them. Then I suspect these idiots would drive around the gates in the rush to kill themselves.

 

Hey, just got a faaaaabulous idea. Alls you need is two big trucks inna parky lot, one micro dumb car aaaaaand there ya go..... the reinvention of the age-old classic PONG.
Re the "smartazz" car.... ever notice you never see the results from Rear End Collision???? Where's yer gas tank Waldo????

 

The Smart car is the only vehicle I've been in yet where I can't even put my arms all the way straight out without touching it side to side AND front to back. It is also the only four wheeled vehicle I've seen where its legal to park it in a spot the way you would a motorcycle. Other than that they're actually quite roomy inside, I wasn't cramped or claustrophobic at all.

 

I got passed by 2 Fiat 500's today on I-15 near Vegas. They had Michigan plates. Coming up in my mirror they looked a lot like the Smart cars, but just a shade bigger. But not much, I'd feel safer on a motorcycle at highway speeds.
