I have been looking @ numbers and if i did same stuff i have this year it would be roughly $195k to the truck. After they take their cut. Im home almost every weekend. And took 3wks off. How does that compare to others?
Im a company driver looking to buy and lease on here where i currently work.

Also good to consider costs vs what you may have grossed. Last year I was leased, worked 46 weeks. Ran 80,000 miles. Was home every weekend and some nites in between. Spent a hair under 10k in tolls. No trailer payment on carriers trailers. Bobtail ins only ($1500)and paid my own plates($1400). Grossed 186k.
gross means something, costs must be considered to get an accurate picture. -
Lets all just take a moment for the gravity of that statement sink in."Hang - Man", SheepDog and HalpinUout Thank this.

Hey blacklabel ! I have never been a company driver, so forgive me for asking this question. As a company employee driver, are you able to know what the freight invoice amount is, on any or all loads that you deliver ?
-
If he gets % pay it'd be easy enough to figure.
blacklabel Thanks this. -
Thats right i make % so makes math easy.
