Running boats and RV's off of Uship is a nightmare. The pay is absolutely horrible, as you are taking huge risks with hauling these trailers with 10yr old rotting tires.

What kind of rig are you trying to run with? 3/4ton, 1ton, bigger?

 

Don’t do it , how can you make a profit. Who would run something for the lowest possible rate ?

 

Get hooked up with the powesports dealers , most units are crated , a friend of mine runs a dealership and cant find anyone in that niche of hauling.

 

I've done some hauling for powersports, but it has been very seasonal with lots of droughts in demand. I do enjoy it, but I've never been able to see it as a full time market, only subsidiary to a car hauling business. I don't even want to suggest car hauling since it is so teeth grinding and competitive.

 

Agreed, UShip is a losing game. I did start with it, simply to make direct customers and a reputation. Central dispatch, super Dispatch, or one of the many quality paid services is the way to go.
