Another old bridge vs.Werner

When you see that visual (angle), it honestly does not look that problematic. And I'll give them the benefit of the doubt that hopefully they were empty ... but such is life in the trucking world ... all is not all that it appears to be.

 

There is way too many people out there that I can see doing stupid stuff like this that are so far from having a Clue what they are doing.

Unbelievable any of the megas can afford the insurance claims and lawsuits for hiring these clueless people.

 

As a x-heavy tow driver, I smile at this one, easy breezy work, write a huge bill to werner, they can pay, they factor in this stuff..
Its why they have guys runnin mad for a quarter a mile...LOL

 

Well, yes ... but you gotta drive an additional 5 miles to get behind them, so there.

But seriously. Can you pull them ACROSS? Otherwise, how do they get turned around? IIRC, they will have to back at least a half to 3/4 of mile to find a drive to get backed into and turned around in, then, they may get hung up there, too.

Id drag her back and wish her luck, possibly remain on standby when she attempts to turn around by backing into a pond

Ya I know you guys love trucking companies.how much would you say this cost?

 

Can you imagine how many times a day this happens and Werner has to call a wrecker.the bill is more .money then any of us will ever see.for all the stupidity on our roads and right this very minute all the drivers have to take the hit.

 

Gotta agree with you there, Miss Patty. I always wonder when these Mega's insurance costs and damaged equipment will catch up to their cheap labor. You'd think they'd actually save a little money by paying sensible wages and attracting quality drivers.
