Hi, what can i say ,this my first day on the job, the trainer told me turn left and put your foot in it and wanting too get my lolly pop from i just do as i told too do, nota my fault as explaing by a first time driver, Everett.

 

Well in my eyes I believe Swift was mislead. The sign says 13' 6"... That truck and every other truck should clear 13' 6" easily.

 

If the trl had low profile tire's and he dump the air bags and wondering why the trainer didnt think of this ,then i think he could've shimmy thru but scraping the top still , mayby not,but neverless, he should;ve stop and eyeball it out first , all part of your trip planning Everett.

 

For the poster and fellow driver who drove under the arch, the 13-6 is in straight down from the middel of the arch with 4 feet spread in ether direction, thus were he got stuck was on top outermost his trl ralings , but this just my observing the photos Everett.

 

I wonder which award he won?

Common sense should rule here but the bridge is clearly not marked properly according to the MUTCD.
Any low clearances with changing heights should be clearly marked with multiple signs. In other words a second sign should be on the low side of the arch. You see many PA bridges like this.

 

#### shame. i know right where that is. theres alot of those around my area, gotta pay attention, matter a fact you cant really miss all the signs and the bridge so i dont know what this guy was thinking
