So I'm a dry van owner op and the spot market as we know is currently terrible.
I'm thinking of going onto a company with some steady contract freight but it definitely needs to be worth it. Was looking at ats spot market open load board and them rates our below average. can anyone share some dry van midwest numbers, tried asking recruiters but aa always they can't tell ya. Anyways looking to Stat midwest say north to south and get more consistent freight any other suggestions be great

Meh. Not sure its a good idea, as they just shuttered Midwest Specialized and tried to convince all their drivers and O/Os to come on over to ATS, but the majority looked at the package they were offering and said "heck no!"

no there package isn't great and supposedly they pausing the fusion self dispatch company but I'm mostly looking for more consistent freight. Really don't have much say or choice with spot market right now it's all a bunch of crap. if broker ain't lying I should be able to maintain pretty decent.
I don't care about buy out drama, of course a new company takes over its gonna change.

That's the crazy part... The buyout occurred over a decade ago. They just shuttered the division this year for the equipment and drivers... but all the O/Os left, along with most of the drivers, so now they have a bunch of heavy haul hood trucks in their yard that won't turn enough of a profit running dry van... I wonder if they have hit the auction circuit yet.

I have a great reefer suggestion for you, but its classified. If I told you, I'd have to kill you.

J/K. No recruiting allowed in the general forums, that's all.

You're kind of on the edge right now. Sly little references to your office position or where to find your ads will result in a loss of privileges.
