As the title suggests... is there a leader for this strike? I mean, I know the cause is obvious, but without a leader people could fold easily. Without a leader, or at least a spokes person, things could break easily.
Any leader?

Hey Cap,
I'd say everyone is speaking for themselves here as usual. We all know fuel price is the one cause we can all point to. Fuel Surcharge not being passed on to the one buying the fuel is also to blame. Then there are the rules/regs we all face along with higher insurance premiums no med insurance.. etc. etc. If all the guys that get plastered on TV or radio stick to the main issues then we don't need a spokesman per se. Agree? or no?
Leave it to some Einstein in Wash to figure out... All I care about is that I can work all week and clear more than 600 bucks after fuel/insurance. -
One question/comment I have is that some of the people that have brought it up here (at stores, whatever, not at work) ask :
"Why are they protesting the cost of driving a truck, by holding caravans and driving their trucks around and blowing their horns?"
I have no snappy comeback for that one...
And really- you're going to need to do more than park at a capital building or run circles in a parking lot to make anyone that CAN change anything even be phased by it. -
I agree it's a contradictory way of doing things, but if we are all bobtailing they know we aren't hauling, also, a convoy of trucks can't be ignored, it's like a bunch of sumo wrestlers marching into a midgets colony (no offense to either group of people meant).
