I'm looking to change companies, I make 2k a week regularly but burned out due to the politics and other bs. Its food service so I was considering ltl so do any of you saia, estes, old dominion etc guys make 2k regularly? Also if i switch i need to be making that or more right off the bat not you'll make 65k the first year and after a few years you can eventually hit it (I believe in always moving forward not backwards)
Anyone make 2k a week here regularly

Good luck finding that. Outside of food service I doubt the money is there, unless you are an o/o. And, if it is there, I doubt anyone will tell you about it, just to be honest about it.
@Chinatown is our resident experts on what companies do and don't offer and which companies are the best to work for. He should be stopping by soon enough.18 wheels of fury and DTP Thank this. -
Sounds like you're stuck where you're at.
You're gonna take a pay hit anywhere you go. No one is gonna start you off at $104k+ a year. -
That's what I was afraid of. Ltl looked good to me because the p&d guys work somewhat sane hours and even the non union guys have holidays off. No such thing as holidays at my company even to the senior guysTheyCallMeDave Thanks this.

Food delivery might. That would be about it.

You can make some pretty good money running LTL, specifically line-haul, but you're going to put your time in on the wild board at the bottom of the totem pole, and it'll take some time to work up to top scale. Keep that in mind as well. Everyone I personally know that does LTL work, whether it be P&D or Line-Haul, all enjoy it.snowlauncher and CrappieJunkie Thank this.

Would you be willing to do OTR?
Oldironfan Thanks this. -
Do what you have to and try and survive a pay cut for a few years.
Never having a holiday off blows.
You'll be happier in the long run.
Im sure you can make $80k or so starting off linehaul for a few LTL companies. But you would have to run "system" and be out a week at a time. -
My work you travel for 4-6 months. But the $ is good.

I thought about it, I've done it before but I dunno if I can do it again to be completely honest
