    I turned 21 the day before orientation. Spent my first days training running 80 over Donner. Fun times indeed.

    Hope it wasn't winter! We haven't been that far south but we've been on 90 across the ID/MT border when the chain signs were up, but we weren't in a truck. Saw a semi in one of those gravel bed truck catchers near there once. I'm hoping he gets some mountain roads before winter, preferably with a trainer.

    And then there's the Million Dollar Highway in Colorado (Ouray to Duango?) Been there on vacation a few times. Hubby has to drive then.

    Yeah....It was November. So I had to learn quick. My next winter I was running the Trans-Canada for the first time so that was another learning experience. And then there was this winter, All over North America was winter apparently.
