I am looking for some input here. My problem is headache rack and apu related. I don't have spacers on the APU to push it out from the frame the 1" or so I need for clearance for the ubolts of the headache rack. I have looked and looked and can't seem to find an answer to this.
I have a Carrier Comfort Pro APU mounted with the hangars and bolts flush against the frame rail. Would box steel work for a spacer with this? Any better solution/suggestion? I know that they make spacers specifically for the units I just don't have the time to wait for ordering them up.
Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

Yes, just use a heavy wall tubing. My truck has spacers and they appear to be solid but that’s not really necessary.

Thank you! Just wanted to make sure that this would work well for this. Got trapped with a load on my trailer over Thanksgiving and, well, the wheels ain't turning not earning a living. Moved my cabinet forward in case there is a power only to carry me through this week and in the future for this nonsense.
Thanks again!kylefitzy Thanks this.
