APU

Looking into an APU alternative or APU. was looking at gennies with autostart or having the engine autostart when the batteries get low. anyone have any experience or can recommend any options? trying to steer clear of tripac, the one i have now has been a moneysink and despite being brandnew( was used but after a year replaced almost everything) its still not working right.
