    Thank y'all for the info getting a stand alone unit from carrier out of Laredo tx price way cheaper than anyone I called for a new unit

    They are junk when they are on a fleet truck and never maintained. I have an ‘06 Tripac that’s still going strong.

    I believe it's all about maintaining anything you buy now a days #### is made not to last and will break and besides that don't have the 13000 for a thermo but I'm getting 4 year warranty

    Battery APUs battery wont last a full 10 hrs. At least I couldn't get it too. Could get it to last longer when hooked up to reefer.

    hmmm.. do you think electrical apu will provide 34 hours cooling ? ))))))))))))))))

    if you will run northern states winter time buy integrated unit. believe me you will need to keep engine warm wintertime.

    Carrier APU has bulletproof Kubota engine. Keep clean the generator , wash often the frame and the housing parts so they won't rust...

    I was thinking about putting rhino lining on the bottom of unit to see if That would help

    will help for sure. keep it road salt and dirt free if you want to have rust free unit.

    one more thing. when they will install it ask them to put 1 inch spacers between unit and truck frame. That space needed when you wash behind of apu.
