not all trucks have them

 

Most of our truck have the battery pack auxilary system now. I still have one of the 07s with the Tripac unit but those trucks are getting phased out. I only have 471k miles on mine so maybe I will get to keep it for a little while longer. Who knows.

Anyone know the best APU for a cabover. I found a great deal on one thinking of running it as a second truck but they are a heat box in the summer and freezer in winter I couldn't do that to another driver especially when Im sitting in my w900 all cool or warm

 

You might want to ask in the owner operated thread, pretty much all company drivers here, and the o/o here won't have a cab over.
