Probably have a stupid question but I have not found anything yet that has enough information so I am hoping someone here can help.
I have a 1994 Kenworth K100 with a 3406C. The truck has short fuel tanks on it but now that I have stretched the frame, I am wanting to put the longer skinny tanks on. I found some freightliner tanks that are 150 and 120 gallon that I am gonna pick up this weekend. Got the tanks, straps and brackets.
my question is, will I be able to make these tanks work on my k100? I can mount them but what else am I going to need to do? Hopefully someone has some insight or has done this and can help. Thank you in advance.

You may need to monitor you tanks to insure the smaller tank will not overfill by returning equally with the larger tank.AModelCat Thanks this. -
@skallagrime might have a few tips.

The tanks themselves are interchangeable but the the hangers may be different from a freightliner to a kenworth.
The tanks generally go by the diameter of them. If the ones on the truck now are a different diameter you may be able to just use the strap part from the freightliner, if the hangers are different.
