    All is set for me starting the 22nd of January.

    I'm looking to hook up with the best trainer possible. One who wants me to succeed as much as I want to. I'm willing to do whatever it takes.

    When I get there, I'll be ready to take the written test.

    i think you need an instructor first.

    All instructors are trainers. Not all trainers are instructors.
    All PSD students graduate to trainees. Not all trainees were PSD students.
    PSD students are not employees until they get their CDL. All trainees are employees.

    Most instructors keep their students as trainees. Some instructors only instruct and pass off their students to trainers after the CDL test.

    You're right, of course. To me a trainer is someone who shows one how to do stuff. So from the time I get there, till the time I go solo, I think all are trainers. I forget that Prime has their own names..

    Chess, If you can get our CDL permit before you go, it will take some of the stress off you while you are there next week. Good luck and have fun.

    Unfortunately, I haven't had time and I forgot Monday is a holiday. No stress for me, though. I'm ready. I've gotten 100% on every practice test. I report on Monday 22nd.

    Either I am a day off or my calendar is wrong, but the 22nd is Tuesday, I think you meant your reporting in on Monday for class starting on the 22nd possibly.
