Got an ARR (alcohol related reckless). In April 2001. Applied to get it expunged couple months back. They granted my request and the paperwork is waiting on the prosecutors signature. Came to my attention that with any alcohol related driving offense you cant drive in Canada. After all the paperwork is signed off and submited. I wonder if this comes of my federal record or any where those crazy canucks cant see it? Any experiance in this matter out there?
    Thanks

I had a DUI 23 years ago, and it still shows up.
All I can say is if you HAVE TO operate a commercial vehicle in Canada...apply for a Ministers Permit. Last I knew it costs around $400.00 and some say once is enough, others say you have to apply and pay every year.
I keep it simple, and just stay out of Canada.
