Anyone have any information on Artur Express? I was offered a local job with them that's home daily, 7 am start. I've seen a lot of critical reviews of them online, but it seems like most of them are coming from the over-the-road drivers working there. They want me to start next week, which is shorter time frame than what I was planning on leaving my current company on. I just don't want the jump ship for my current job If this new company is bad news. Does anyone have any info on them? And what it would be like potentially if I went over there?

I see them all the time in the STL area. They have nice equipment. I'm seeing them roll out those new Volvos and Freightliners. They're a reputable company with customers. They look the part to me. The question is....what type of pay package are they offering?
-
They may have nice equipment but the 29.6% OOS rate means RUN!hotrod1653, Lonesome, 48Packard and 2 others Thank this.

I tend to agree. It is a high OOS rate. Perhaps that bad rate might have forced them into upgrading though. Earlier this year, I saw where they had a whole bunch of new trailers at the Craftsmen yard. I'll give them the benefit of the doubt though.

My main concern with them is their high out of service percentage and the fact that the recruiter still hasn't told me where I'm even parking the truck at night. Just seems a bit sketchy to me.

They have a terminal in the STL area. I'd venture a guess thats where you'll park. I'm trying to remember where exactly it is, because I can't remember where I saw it, either off of 270 or the MO-370. It's an actual facility. I run in and out of STL, and they are a legit company, despite the safety score. This place is under the radar and they aren't a we'll known company around the country, but definitely a viable trucking company.

The job I'm applying for is a local position out of Omaha, they haven't even told me where the yard in Omaha is. I can't find any such terminal in that City so I'm trying to see if this job is even legit.
Lonesome Thanks this. -
Website says they have a secure yard there. ....I sense a lot of uncertainty. My mother always says, "Better the devil you know."
