Not really, as long as your record and job history good they'll hire you. It's just your truck passing inspection you gotta worry about

You can apply with LS without a truck. Get approved. And then worry about the truck.

Pretty good if you know what your doing. It's not so easy a caveman can do it but once you learn the system the Sky's the Limit.
