Living here in the Rockies, and having chained up more than I can count in just the last week! I have never even heard of them till now....
I am not certain that they would even pass Colorado chain laws.QuietStorm Thanks this. -
If I'm not mistaken Colorado was the first state to approve them for use in lieu of chains a few years ago.

Really? Wow I did not know that. See you can learn something new every day!
I just did a little research on it. yep approved for the last 3 years. Pardon my ignorance.
I would be interested to see how well they work, I hate those stupid chains! -
I read a report in them that they work BETTER than chains

I talked to one guy that runs 70 over the Rockies and he had no complaints and said they were much easier to put on. I was just looking for other opinions was thinking about getting them for next winter.
Dominick253 Thanks this. -
Where can we buy them?
-
You cannot run Autosock on dry roads per their website. Anyone that chains regularly knows they have chain law up and the road is snow free for 5-8 miles. This causes premature wear and breakage on regular chains.

They look like panty hose, now to find me a fat woman

From Autosock.com you can get them at the Iowa 80 group in Walcott, IA
