And with lit up cop cars on the shoulder before the backup to try and get the attention of even the most moronic distracted drivers... and still.

I don't even know how to further respond to this type of senseless tragedy.

    .

Is that a backup from the Terra Haute construction that caused the accident?

There was a four fatality accident in that construction this spring. One of the forum members spent 10 hours in that accident.
The first trailer in the vid was a mail hauler.

I was on i5 the other day, multiple slowdowns/stops due to construction, every single one was well marked, and still every time you would see people shooting off into the median or shoulders to avoid rear ending the people in front of them. Every single time.

    People need to wake up.

Looks like a covered body on shoulder at the 32nd second.

Nothing is going to move until the coroner gets there.

Most days I see one vehicle pulled over, it's like the police gave up.
And Gary, IN, everyone runs 65 plus in that rough 45mph construction zone, We could make millions in fines up there.

It really is starting to feel that way in Northern OH and IN.

See people (4-wheelers AND big trucks) flying past the bears doing 15-20 over posted, and the bears barely blink anymore.

Too many speeding tickeys pled down to non-moving violations? Or just too much negative press against the police? Keep telling someone they can't do their job right, and eventually they quit giving a crap and just show up for the paycheck.
