Wassup guys! Ill start off with a little history. I was an OTR driver for 7 years out of Mississippi. In 2008 I parked the truck and hit the Gulf of Mexico and have been working offshore for 7 years. Well now days I get no time at home, usually in a different country for 2 months then may get a week or so at home. Working like this is wearing me out and is a lot of stress. So im just about ready to get in a truck again. I have always missed it.

So heres my questions. I have a friend of mine that is going to give me a OTR job if I want it. I worked with him when I drove before. I eventually want my own truck and I am considering Schneider's Lease Choice board. As with most companies I see mixed reviews and comments as " it wont work" or "Stay away from lease". Im so used to being away from home so staying out 2 or 3 weeks would be gravy to me. Which truck to get? Slightly used or new for the warranty. The new Pete's or KW will be the only way ill go. For me I will only do a 1 year deal incase its not for me. If I want to go longer can I keep the same truck and continue to pay on it so it could be MY OWN one day?

Hows the freight on the Choice board? will it be easier to maintain good earnings the longer you stay out?
