As a student with a road test next week I am looking for pointers on backing up. I have a fairly good understanding of the concept and always get out and make sure my path is clear.

Any other tips would be appreciated.

Also I have been playing this little flash game http://gameserpent.com/playgame/5367/Your-large-truck-parking
Can't get past level 6, here's a screenshot of my best score so far. It looks like I am parking in the space but the game is real sensitive and wants you to be lined up perfectly.

Check it out of if your interested. The games physics feel alright, not perfect but it has been helping me get the hang of things, other students may enjoy using it as well so thought I would share it with the forum.

I am trying to find some game for tablet where can practice backing. There are few games with front end parking but I haven't find any proper backing games. Any suggestions?

Made it through all 8 levels. Not very realistic though and no steering wheel.

the most important thing I can tell you that Ive taight others is when you stick your head out and look at the back of your trailer is to look at the trailers tires- that is your pivot point, not the tail of the trailer itself. when you start seeing that as the turning axis you will get a much better feel for what is happening and predictability for what you want to happen. imagine how your unit will be in your spot.imagine how you would drive from that spot and end up where you now are. now follow the imaginary path and drive the unit in reverse into that spot. it isnt hard at all when you change the way you think about it - don t think of it as "backing up", but "driving in reverse"
