    Does anyone know how far back most companys go for criminal checks?My state check comes back clean but got into troubel 33 years ago when I was young and stupid. Im afraid if a compay does an fbi check it will pop. Thanks

    Just be honest with them,they will find it and don't like to be lied to.That said anything that old isn't likely to cause any problems unless it was really serious.

    some of the "usual" questions asked on an application are,

    "have you EVER been arrested"?

    " any arrests in the past 10 years"?

    if the question on that particular application asks, "EVER BEEN" then you need to put it on the app.

    otherwise you may not have to..
    'another thing to consider also, BEFORE you get you CDL permit, try and see if you can get that expunged off your record....some states do this, where others do not...but you MUST CHECK this out BEFORE you even apply for the CDL permit...
