United States Truck Driving School In Wheatridge and Fountain Colorado is horrible. The trucks they try to train you on are in no way safe. No trailer brakes, broken lug bolts, leaking fluids, seats and mirrors do not adjust, trailer doors tied on with ropes, latches and hinges broken and more.
No one logs any on duty or driving time, 6-10 students per truck.
do a maneuver one time and that’s all the practice you get. Maybe total of one hour on road driving a truck.
Horrible, don’t waste your time or money.

Did you visit the place before you showed up?
Puppage Thanks this. -
You're driving around a backing range, and training area. Do you really need a truck that will pass a level 1 inspection? -
Did you pass and get a cdl?
Vic Firth Thanks this. -

5 Best CDL Training Schools in Colorado - FreightWaves Ratings
Sage would have been your best bet if you were reasonably close.
You’ll still be driving junk trucks since they rely on donated equipment.
Also, I’m not sure if a student CLP holder needs to log hos.. I didn’t when I went to Sage.Dave_in_AZ and Chinatown Thank this. -

I usually recommend #5 on the list; Careers Worldwide CDL Driving School.

Saw an ad one time that Dairy Farmers of America only hires from Sage which is #1 on the list. -
Sounds about right. Trucks at my school were junk too. More than one of the trailers was missing the roof. My school used the DMV for testing rather than having their own 3rd-party tester, and I'd say this school's students accounted for nearly half of that particular DMV location's daily CDL testing, so they saw these trucks over and over again all day. Doing the pre-trip was like, Windshield not cracked..err, well, if this were my truck I'd make sure it's not cracked, bent, or broken.
They seemed to give the school trucks a pass on the inspection. I saw them turn away people bringing their own trucks for minor issues the school truck never would have passed.God prefers Diesels and Dave_in_AZ Thank this. -
the road trucks are totally different, and i'll bet you all were perfect for the road.Dave_in_AZ Thanks this.
