If you're home fairly regular, a local bank or credit union is fine. If home time is a scarce commodity, a regional or national bank might be a better option. I don't care much for banks (or any other business for that matter) without SOME sort of physical presence...somewhere I can go...someone I can talk to...any time an issue might arise.

Then get a credit union like mine, that pays for the first 10 a month. Should be fine for most people.
Or use one of the nationwide free atms at any credit union (not always an option in a truck I know, but sometimes it is....)

these days most banks are pretty much up with the times its more about developing a personal relationship with your local banker if your an O/O

    Seriously.

Get a Bank of America account with a Mastercard card or a Fifth Third bank account with their Visa.

These seem to have the best coverage country wide.

Maybe not the best coverage but i trust credit unions more than banks. You usually can use any competing credit unions ATM without a fee. Also easier to get a loan and lower interest rates.
