Dreaded the day. Thought I was gonna hate them more than anything

But I actually like them. Does everything for me. Used to catch my logs up every few stops, lots of math and trying to remember where I was when. Thought I was gonna have to be messing with elog constantly updating my status, but no, just change my duty status to start day, start break, end break, end day. Probably spend less than 1 minute per day on my log. Real nice

They are nice, I like them too. We just need to change the HOS now that we're being tracked everywhere. That way I can drive Safe instead of Legal.

Well, you must be doing something wrong. Haven't you read the forums??? It should take all your available hours just to make entries and corrections. You should have to stop every 5 minutes to reboot the system and make all those entries. Plus you are probably thousands of dollars in the hole, since everyone knows, "you can't make any money on those danged ELD's"!!!!!
Congrats, welcome to modern age trucking.

It's a lot easier for team driving as well. You don't have to worry about having to make sure everything matches up with the other driver.

Electronic paper logs are the best way to go in my opinion, although I'll be switching over to full elogs soon.

I've done both paper and nanny logs. I'm buying a 1999 truck soon, to get back to sanity (and get a more robust truck made of metal instead of plastic).
