Ever see the episode where the lady had goats. And they had EATEN through the wall of the house and took over a room in the house. And her solution to the problem was to board up the door to that room. I have been in hoarder houses on calls that were so jam packed full of $#%*, there was a tight little path through the house and stuff was piled so high it would fall over if you just bumped it. I kept thinking I was glad I was there on a medical call and not a fire. Hi Jack!

Or the guy with a couple thousand rats. In my last job I had to do service calls to peoples houses. 2 things I learned people are dicks when there in there own house even tho they called you and people are nasty.

I showed up late to this party. I gotta say one thing and it ain't to stir the pot or start a fight. But I have noticed that there is a particular person that posts lost of negative post on others threads but if you say anything to him he runs to the Admins and your posts get deleted but not his.

But, but I'VE GOT ISSUES. . .

Another forum I used to run, I would be a little more determined. After about a dozen or so bannings, eventially they get tired of registering. Two can play that game. His end takes alot more work.

I haven't thrown my 2 cents in yet.

To the OP, in the trucking industry you face daily problems that can make the average persons blood boil. To maintain sanity and your health you deal with it and move on. You even replied to a post saying the same thing. Practice what you preach.
You messed up in several areas with that transaction.
1. You already wanted to buy it before you saw it.
2. You paid a deposit before seeing it or knowing the person. By the way, that type deposit is refundable in the eyes of the law unless you signed something saying it's not refundable.
3. A $10,000 truck is equivalent to a $1500 car. Your own false expectations let yourself down.
4. Over half of the dealings on Craigslist are someone looking for a sucker.
5. The moderator is always right. Don't challenge them.
If you have less than 1 year experience, you need a couple more before making drastic moves. You try to speed up the process, you are asking for failure. -
@condo - A LOT more took place than you know (deleted post). I did not make the decision to buy my boss/owner with 13yrs did after lengthy discussions with the seller a lot of information wasn't shared. Even tho I am new to this industry I am not new to the business world. I owned and ran a business for 8yrs and know things happen. Protecting other drivers from falling victim to the misleading ad was my goal.
And in closing, cause it's time to move on, opinions are like $$$$$$$'s everyone has one and NOBODY I dont care who you are is always right!
Take care! -
ultra, yes alot of info was left out. I had a similar situation where I got screwed on a land deal the people didn't really own. I was just passing my mistakes down to you.
I'm sure you would handle it differently next time.
Wargames and bullhaulerswife Thank this.
